Old Testament

Elzabad, a Gadite warrior, was one of the mighty men who joined David at Ziklag.

Elzabad was a Gadite warrior who joined David at the stronghold, listed among the mighty men of Gad who crossed the Jordan to follow David in 1 Chronicles 12:12. These Gadite soldiers were described as men whose faces were like the faces of lions and who were as swift as gazelles on the mountains. Their allegiance to David during his years of exile added formidable military strength to his growing coalition.
