Hathach

Hathach was a eunuch of the Persian court appointed by King Ahasuerus to serve Queen Esther (Esther 4:5–10). He served as the vital intermediary between Esther in the palace and Mordecai outside the king's gate during the crisis of Haman's decree, conveying their messages back and forth as Esther deliberated whether to approach the king unbidden. His faithful service at this critical moment made him an essential link in the chain of events that led to the salvation of the Jewish people.
