Kore, a Levite gatekeeper, descendant of Korah
Kore son of Imnah was a Levite gatekeeper appointed by King Hezekiah to oversee the freewill offerings brought to the temple and to distribute them fairly among the priests in the cities of Judah (2 Chronicles 31:14). He is identified as a Korahite gatekeeper on the east gate, and his role in managing the voluntary contributions was part of Hezekiah's broader reform that restored proper Levitical service. He is distinct from the earlier Kore son of Ebiasaph mentioned in 1 Chronicles 9:19.
