Milalai, a priest, was among the musicians who participated in the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah.
Milalai was a Levitical musician who participated in the great celebration at the dedication of the rebuilt walls of Jerusalem under Nehemiah, performing in one of the two processions that marched atop the walls (Nehemiah 12:36). He is listed among the musicians accompanying Ezra in that processional. Milalai is identified as the son of Jonathan and a brother of Zechariah, Shemaiah, and several other Levitical musicians who served in the post-exilic restoration community.
