Peullethai

United Kingdom Tribe of Levi · H6469
Old Testament

Peullethai, the eighth son of Obed-Edom, a gatekeeper in the temple during the time of David.

Peullethai was the eighth and youngest son of Obed-edom, the Levite whose household was blessed during the three months the ark of the covenant rested with him (1 Chronicles 26:5). He served as a gatekeeper for the sanctuary alongside his brothers, and the entire family of Obed-edom was celebrated for its exceptional ability—sixty-two men of ability who ruled their father's house (1 Chronicles 26:8), a sign of God's continued blessing on Obed-edom's line.
