Psalms 130

نظرة عامة

A Song of Ascent — one of the seven penitential psalms — crying from the depths to the Lord. If God marked iniquities no one could stand, but with God is forgiveness and steadfast love. The psalmist waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for morning, and calls Israel to hope in redemption.
