The MT reads 'you received gifts among men' while the LXX reads 'gave gifts to men,' a divergence that Paul exploits in Ephesians 4:8 where he quotes the LXX-variant to describe Christ's resurrection ascension and distribution of spiritual gifts to the church. The parenthetical 'yea, for the rebellious also' (aph sorerim) is theologically remarkable — even rebels are included in the gifts, suggesting divine beneficence exceeds the boundaries of the obedient community.
