Ahian

Ahian was a son of Shemida and a descendant of Manasseh, listed in the tribal genealogy of the half-tribe of Manasseh in 1 Chronicles 7:19. He is one of four sons of Shemida—alongside Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam—who represent sub-clans of the Manassite settlement west of the Jordan. The genealogy of Manasseh in 1 Chronicles 7 preserves records of both the eastern and western branches of the tribe. Ahian appears in no narrative episode and is known exclusively from this genealogical reference.
