Ebiasaph

Ebiasaph (also known as Abiasaph) was a Levite descendant of Korah, listed in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 6:23, 37 and Exodus 6:24. He was an ancestor of the temple gatekeepers and musicians who served under David's organization of worship, and the Chronicler traces the lineage of certain temple families specifically through him. Notably, Ebiasaph was a descendant of Korah—whose rebellion against Moses ended in divine judgment—yet his line continued in honorable temple service, demonstrating God's mercy to subsequent generations.
