Haggi

Haggi was a son of Gad and grandson of Jacob, listed among those who descended to Egypt with the family of Jacob (Genesis 46:16), and his descendants the Haggites are numbered in the second wilderness census of Numbers 26:15. He belonged to the founding generation of the tribe of Gad and gave his name to one of the family divisions through which Gad maintained its tribal structure during the Exodus and wilderness generations.
