Old Testament

Ibnijah, a descendant of Benjamin, was one of the Israelites who resettled in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile.

Ibnijah was a Benjamite mentioned in the genealogical register of those who settled in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile, recorded in 1 Chronicles 9:8. He is identified as the father of Reuel, who is listed among the post-exilic residents. Like many figures in the resettlement lists of Chronicles, Ibnijah is known only through his familial relationship to the community that rebuilt Jerusalem under Persian rule.
