Ithran

Ithran was a son of Zophah and a descendant of Asher, listed in 1 Chronicles 7:37. He is also referred to as Jether in the parallel list, a common variant name (1 Chronicles 7:38). Ithran is noted as the father of Jephunneh, Pispa, and Ara, making him a clan head within the Asherite tribal structure. The Asherite genealogies emphasize the family's status as heads of their fathers' houses and men of valor.
