Mallothi

Mallothi was a son of Heman appointed by King David as one of the twenty-four leaders of sacred song for the temple (1 Chronicles 25:4, 26). His division—the nineteenth—was assigned by lot for the rotation of temple worship. Like his brothers, he served under his father Heman, the king's seer, in the prophetic tradition of temple music. Mallothi is known exclusively from this liturgical record.
