Pelaiah

Pelaiah was a late descendant of King David listed in the Davidic genealogy of 1 Chronicles 3:24, a son of Elioenai from the branch of Zerubbabel. He belongs to the post-exilic generation of the royal line, several generations after Zerubbabel, representing the continued survival of the Davidic dynasty in the restoration period. The precise period of his life is difficult to determine, but the genealogy reaches several generations beyond the return from exile.
