Serah

Exodus & Wilderness Tribe of Asher · H8294
Old Testament

Serah was the daughter of Asher and the sister of Asher's sons, as mentioned in the genealogies of the tribe of Asher.

Serah was the daughter of Asher, son of Jacob, mentioned in the genealogical records of Genesis 46:17, Numbers 26:46, and 1 Chronicles 7:30 as the only daughter named among those who went down to Egypt with Jacob. Later Jewish tradition accorded her legendary status as a long-lived figure who bridged the generations of the patriarchs and the Exodus, though these traditions go beyond the canonical text.
