Ahumai

Ahumai was a descendant of Judah through Shobal son of Hur, listed in the genealogy of the Zorathites in 1 Chronicles 4:2. He is identified as the son of Jahath and the brother of Lahad, both of whom are described as clans associated with the families of the Zorathites. Zorah was a town in the Shephelah of Judah, most famous as the hometown of Samson (Judges 13:2). Ahumai's genealogy places him in the broader network of Judahite clans that settled the western foothills before and during the monarchy. He appears in no narrative episode.
