The Anamim were a people group descended from Mizraim, the son of Ham, and are listed among the nations in the Table of Nations.
The Anamim were one of the peoples descended from Mizraim, the son of Ham, listed in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10:13; 1 Chronicles 1:11). Mizraim is the Hebrew name for Egypt, and his descendants in Genesis 10 represent the various ancient peoples of the northeastern African and Levantine regions. The precise identification of the Anamim is uncertain; they may correspond to a people attested in Egyptian or other ancient Near Eastern records, but no confident modern identification has been established. They appear in no narrative episode and are known only from this ethnographic list.
