Col-hozeh

Exile Tribe of Judah · H3626H
Old Testament

Col-hozeh was an ancestor of Maaseiah, who settled in Jerusalem after the exile.

Col-hozeh was an ancestor of Maaseiah, a descendant of Judah who settled in Jerusalem after the exile (Nehemiah 11:5). He also appears as the father of Shallum, who repaired the Fountain Gate in Jerusalem and built a pool and wall during Nehemiah's restoration project (Nehemiah 3:15). Through his sons' civic contributions to both the population of Jerusalem and its defensive infrastructure, Col-hozeh's family played a meaningful role in the rebuilding of the post-exilic city.
