Ismachías

Ismachiah was one of the overseers appointed by King Hezekiah and his chief officer Conaniah to supervise the administration of the tithes, offerings, and dedicated things brought to the temple storehouses during the religious reforms of Hezekiah's reign (2 Chronicles 31:13). The reform involved a comprehensive restoration of temple worship and personnel, and figures like Ismachiah served the practical administrative needs of managing the large influx of offerings the people brought in response to Hezekiah's revival.
