The Mahavites were represented among David's mighty men.
The Mahavites were a group represented among David's mighty warriors by Eliel the Mahavite, listed in the extended roster of champions in 1 Chronicles 11:46. Their geographical or clan origin is uncertain and the name Mahavites does not appear elsewhere in the biblical text. The warrior catalog of 1 Chronicles 11 preserves the names of many fighters from diverse origins who served in David's elite military corps.
