Ozem

Ozem was the sixth son of Jesse and thus a brother of King David, listed in the genealogy of David's family in 1 Chronicles 2:15. He is one of seven sons of Jesse enumerated in Chronicles (eight are mentioned in 1 Samuel 16:10–11), a discrepancy that has been variously explained by scholars as a scribal omission or the early death of one son without descendants. Ozem plays no role in the biblical narrative beyond this genealogical reference.
