Verdad

The attribute of God by which he knows all things — past, present, and future — exhaustively and perfectly. Psalm 139:1-4 marvels that God knows every thought before it is formed and every word before it is spoken. Hebrews 4:13 declares that 'nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight.' First John 3:20 affirms that 'God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.' God's omniscience includes knowledge of all possibilities (1 Samuel 23:11-12) and extends to the most intimate details of creation (Matthew 10:30). This attribute undergirds God's ability to judge justly and fulfill every promise.
