Eutychus was a young man in Troas who fell from a window and was restored to life by Paul.
Eutychus was a young man of Troas who fell asleep during Paul's extended late-night discourse and fell from a third-story window, apparently dying from the impact (Acts 20:9). Paul went down, embraced him, and declared that life was still in him—an episode Luke records as a miraculous restoration. The event echoes the raising miracles of Elijah and Elisha and is understood by many interpreters as a genuine resurrection, paralleling the raising of Tabitha in Acts 9.
