Mash (or Meshech), a son of Aram, was a grandson of Shem.
Mash (called Meshech in 1 Chronicles 1:17) was a son of Aram and grandson of Shem, listed in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10:23). He is one of the four sons of Aram alongside Uz, Hul, and Gether, representing Aramean or Syrian tribal peoples. The identification of Mash/Meshech is uncertain; he may be associated with a region in northern Syria or with the Mushki people of Asia Minor mentioned in Assyrian records.
