Old Testament

Mehuman was one of the seven eunuchs who served King Ahasuerus.

Mehuman was one of the seven eunuchs who served King Ahasuerus of Persia, commanded to bring Queen Vashti before the royal banquet so the king could display her beauty to the assembled nobles (Esther 1:10). When Vashti refused, the king's wrath burned and the incident set in motion the events leading to Esther's selection as queen. Mehuman appears only in this single verse and his name reflects a Persian linguistic context.
