Sodi was the father of Gaddiel, the man chosen from the tribe of Zebulun to spy out the land of Canaan.
Sodi was a Zebulunite whose son Gaddiel was selected as the representative spy from the tribe of Zebulun among the twelve men sent by Moses to scout Canaan (Numbers 13:10). His name appears only through this genealogical connection to his son's mission.
