Passover

The annual Jewish festival commemorating Israel's deliverance from slavery in Egypt, when the angel of death 'passed over' homes marked with lamb's blood (Exodus 12). Jesus celebrated Passover at the Last Supper, and Christians see Him as 'our Passover lamb.'
