The Christian doctrine that God exists as one God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial. While the word 'Trinity' does not appear in Scripture, the concept is derived from passages like Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14.
