Isaiah 63:7
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

Study Note
The great prayer of Isaiah 63-64 opens with a resolve to 'mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord and the praises of the Lord' as the basis for intercession. The Hebrew 'hesed' (lovingkindness, covenant loyalty) in the plural ('hesadim') denotes the accumulated specific acts of covenant faithfulness — not a general attribute but a remembered history. The literary structure mirrors Psalm 89's movement from doxology (89:1-37) to lament (89:38-51), using remembered mercies as leverage for present petition. Paul's instruction to rejoice always and give thanks in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) draws on the same principle that rehearsed gratitude sustains prayer amid suffering.
