Armoni

Armoni was one of two sons of King Saul by his concubine Rizpah daughter of Aiah (2 Samuel 21:8). When a three-year famine struck Israel during David's reign, God revealed it was due to Saul's bloodguilt for attacking the Gibeonites—a covenant violation. David handed Armoni and his brother Mephibosheth, along with five grandsons of Saul through Merab, to the Gibeonites, who executed them at the beginning of harvest. Rizpah's subsequent vigil over their exposed bodies—keeping birds and beasts away—moved David to give the remains of Saul's house a proper burial in the family tomb.
