Atarah

Atarah was the second wife of Jerahmeel, the son of Hezron and a descendant of Judah, and the mother of Onam (1 Chronicles 2:26). She appears in the genealogical records of the Jerahmeelite branch of Judah, which settled in the southern Negev. The Jerahmeelites maintained their own distinct traditions and are mentioned in 1 Samuel 27:10 and 30:29 in connection with David's campaigns in the south. Atarah's son Onam became the father of Shammai and Jada, extending the Jerahmeelite line. She is known only from this genealogical reference.
