Binea

Binea was a descendant of King Saul through Jonathan and Mephibosheth, listed in the Saulide genealogy of 1 Chronicles 8:37 and 9:43. He belonged to the generation after Mephibosheth, continuing the line of Saul despite the dynasty's political end. The Chronicler's preservation of this lineage reflects the continued social significance of Saul's descendants in the communities of Benjamin during the Divided Monarchy period.
