Eden, a Levite from the family of Joah, assisted in the cleansing of the temple during Hezekiah's reign.

Eden was a Levite of the family of Joah who assisted in the cleansing and rededication of the temple during King Hezekiah's religious reform (2 Chronicles 29:12). He is listed among the Levites who consecrated themselves and then spent eight days clearing out the accumulated filth from the temple's inner courts—work that had been neglected during the apostasy of Ahaz. Eden's participation in this purification effort made him part of the remarkable spiritual renewal that marked the early years of Hezekiah's reign.
