Mahli, a son of Mushi and grandson of Merari, was a Levite during the time of David.
Mahli son of Mushi was a Levite and grandson of Merari whose descendants are listed among the Merarite clans (1 Chronicles 6:47; 23:23; 24:30). His sons, Eleazar and Kish, are noted in connection with the marriage of Eleazar's daughters to Kish's sons when Eleazar died without male heirs (1 Chronicles 23:22). This Mahli should be distinguished from Mahli son of Merari himself (1 Chronicles 6:19; Exodus 6:19), the founder of the Mahlite sub-clan.
