Meshullemeth

Meshullemeth was the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah and the wife of King Manasseh of Judah; she became the mother of King Amon, who succeeded Manasseh on the throne (2 Kings 21:19). As queen mother she would have held an honored position at the Judahite court. Her son Amon ruled for only two years and was assassinated by his own servants, who were in turn killed by the people of the land. Meshullemeth is mentioned only in the regnal formula introducing Amon's reign.
