Berechiah

Berechiah was a descendant of King David, listed in the post-exilic Davidic genealogy of 1 Chronicles 3:20 as one of the sons of Zerubbabel. He belongs to the generation born after the return from Babylonian exile, when the Davidic line continued as a recognized family though no longer holding the throne. His name, meaning 'Yahweh blesses,' was common in the Levitical and Davidic families of the post-exilic period.
