Elpaal

Divided Kingdom Tribe of Benjamin · H0508
Old Testament

Elpaal was a Benjamite, the son of Shaharaim, and the founder of several towns.

Elpaal was a Benjamite patriarch whose extensive family is recorded in 1 Chronicles 8:11–18, making him one of the more generative figures in Benjamin's tribal genealogy. He was a son of Shaharaim by his wife Hushim and fathered numerous sons including Eber, Misham, Shemed, Beriah, and Shema, among others. Several of his descendants became heads of families in Aijalon and Gath, and his line contributed significantly to the reconstruction and repopulation of Benjamite towns.
