Ginnethon, a priest, was among those who sealed the covenant during Nehemiah's reforms.
Ginnethon was a priest who set his seal on the covenant renewal document under Nehemiah (Nehemiah 10:6) and is also listed in Nehemiah 12:4 as one of the priests who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. His name appears again in Nehemiah 12:16 as that of a priestly family in the days of the high priest Joiakim, suggesting that Ginnethon's descendants continued to serve in the priesthood of the Second Temple community.
