Sethur was the son of Michael, appointed as the representative spy from the tribe of Asher among the twelve men sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan (Numbers 13:13). His name appears only in this context, and like the majority of the twelve spies, he brought back a discouraging report about the land's defenders.
