For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem' — Micah 4:1–5's eschatological vision (nearly identical to Isaiah 2:2–4) depicts the reversal of Zion's fortunes from judgment oracle (3:12) to center of universal pilgrimage. The nations' spontaneous 'come, let us go up' reverses the typical prophetic summons to Israel; in the eschaton, Gentile initiative fulfills what Israel's disobedience frustrated. The Torah 'going out' from Zion (yetse Torah miTsion) presents eschatological instruction as a centrifugal movement from Zion to the nations, complementing the centripetal pilgrimage imagery.
