Euodia was a Christian woman in Philippi whom Paul urged to reconcile with Syntyche.
Euodia was a prominent woman in the church at Philippi whom Paul earnestly urges to be reconciled with Syntyche (Philippians 4:2). Paul acknowledges that both women had 'labored side by side with me in the gospel,' indicating their active role in the early mission at Philippi. Her dispute with Syntyche was apparently significant enough to disrupt the community's harmony and to merit direct address in Paul's letter to a congregation he otherwise praises with great warmth.
