Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah, was the mother of Jehoahaz and Zedekiah, two kings of Judah.
Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah was the wife of King Josiah and the mother of two kings of Judah—Jehoahaz (2 Kings 23:31) and Zedekiah (2 Kings 24:18). She lived through the catastrophic final decades of the Judean monarchy, watching one son deposed and exiled to Egypt by Pharaoh Necho and another son installed as the last king of Judah before the Babylonian destruction. Her sons' reigns bracketed the period of Jerusalem's final collapse.
