Helek was a son of Gilead from the tribe of Manasseh, listed in Numbers 26:30 as the founder of the Helekite clan. He is mentioned alongside his brothers Iezer, Asriel, Shechem, Shemida, and Hepher in the second wilderness census as one of Manasseh's six clan-founding sons.
