Malchiram

Divided Kingdom Tribe of Judah · H4443
Old Testament

Malchiram was a descendant of King Jeconiah (Jehoiachin) of Judah.

Malchiram was a son of King Jeconiah (Jehoiachin), the Judahite king taken into Babylonian captivity by Nebuchadnezzar in 597 BC (1 Chronicles 3:18). He is listed among the seven sons born to Jehoiachin during the exile, alongside Shealtiel, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. The preservation of this royal genealogy through the exile maintained the Davidic line that would eventually produce Zerubbabel. No further information about Malchiram survives.
