Nogah

Nogah was one of the sons born to King David in Jerusalem, listed in the registers of his children by multiple wives (1 Chronicles 3:7; 14:6). He appears only in these birth lists and plays no role in the biblical narrative. His name, meaning 'brightness' or 'radiance,' reflects the literary or theophoric naming conventions of the royal household, and he is not to be confused with the region Nogah mentioned in the Transjordanian settlement.
