Psalms 131

Ikhtisar

A brief Song of Ascent attributed to David expressing humble contentment: not lifting eyes too high or occupying himself with things too great, but quieting his soul like a weaned child with its mother. The psalm ends with a call for Israel to hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore.
