A Torah liturgy asking who may ascend the Lord's holy mountain. The answer is the one who walks blamelessly, works righteousness, speaks truth from the heart, does not slander, honors those who fear God, keeps oaths even to personal harm, and does not take bribes against the innocent.
3He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
