Abimael

Abimael was a son of Joktan and a descendant of Shem, listed among the seventy nations in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10:28; 1 Chronicles 1:22). The Joktanite tribes are generally associated with the peoples of southern Arabia, and Abimael likely represents one of the tribal groups or clans of that region. His name may be related to an Arabic root, though its precise meaning is debated.
