Bedan

Bedan was a descendant of Manasseh through Machir and Gilead, listed in the tribal genealogies of 1 Chronicles 7:17. He appears in the lineage associated with the Transjordanian territory settled by the half-tribe of Manasseh. A different Bedan is mentioned in 1 Samuel 12:11 as a judge whom God sent to deliver Israel—possibly an alternate name for Barak or Abdon—though the Chronicler's Bedan belongs strictly to the genealogical tradition.
