Beno

Beno was a Levite from the family of Merari, the son of Jaaziah, listed among the Levitical families assigned duties in the house of the LORD during David's reign (1 Chronicles 24:26–27). The sons of Jaaziah—Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri—formed a distinct branch of the Merari clan. David's careful organization of the Levitical orders prepared the temple workforce that would serve under Solomon and his successors.
